Australian House & Garden Feature

The October issue of Australian House & Garden is finally out and I am happy to share that one of my all time favourite projects is featured on page 24. Built over 5 years ago this Melbourne family home still looks as fresh today as it did when completed. Of course, photos never do a space justice but it will give you a feel for how the Handbury family lives in an Ali Ross Designed home.

My favourite space in the home is the playroom – a compact additional living space off the hallway that accommodates all the toys and dress ups within built in joinery. The space also conceals a TV, a workspace behind bi-fold doors and a daybed.

It’s a home with a wonderful sense of light and space and layers of texture and interest and it really allows the owners personality to shine through.
